Memorial Day at the Beach!

Hi all! We had a great trip to Anna Maria Island this weekend! Sadie loved the sand and surf and especially liked being the center of attention all weekend! Enjoy the pics below...

We got there Saturday afternoon and went down to the beach to see the sunset that evening.

There were little "bird tracks" from Sadie's hands all over the beach!!

There were 2 plastic lizards in our house that we rented. Sadie adopted them for the weekend and took them everywhere!

Waiting to eat breakfast--Yikes, no rail! Sadie was perterbued I wouldn't let her loose! We saw some dolphins though while we waited!

The lizard "got" Mommy alot this weekend.

The best part of this seat was the mirror right behind us! Sadie is a bit narcissistic!

Let me check my pocket for my cell phone! (Julie gave her this tiny calculator on a key chain to play with. It fit perfectly in the pocket of these shorts. She kept pulling it out and looking at it and putting it back like a cell phone. every once in awhile she'd hold it up to her ear and "talk to Grandma".)

Sadie loved pushing John in the hammock but she wasn't such a fan of getting in it herself!


Sadie is not one of those kids who doesn't like to get dirty! She dove right in the sand!

We enjoyed some ice cream that evening...Sadie especially enjoyed hers!

Back to the beach--Sadie was in charge of getting her own toys down to the beach! She did a great job!

COME ON PEOPLE! There's water and sand to play in!

As soon as she hit the sand she had to tear her shoes off and put them in her wagon!

We went to a nice Italian restaurant our last night. As you can see, Sadie hated her fettuccini alfredo!

Oh my gosh, Mom, this vacation was fabulous!
