Please Mom--no more pictures--I'm very busy here carrying these pajamas around!
Yeah, yeah...I'm so big...we need a new game!
What do you want from me???
Okay, I'll give you a very small smile just to get you off my back!

Sadie and I visited the zoo last week. This was her look most of the time--she was very unimpressed! I think she's probably a little young for it although she did say "hiiii" to the giraffes! However, I loved it and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and strolling around the zoo!
This is Sadie's and my on-going battle. She can push the buttons on the TV--turn it off, turn the volume up, etc. She never does it if I'm in the kitchen or something but she loves to turn around and look at me and start pushing them--little defiant one! I make her sit in the chair and hold her hands for a few minutes after she does it which makes her VERY mad but she often heads right back to the TV...oy...she already knows how to "push my buttons!"
She appears to be posing here!
Just cute!
I love the fact that Sadie seems to enjoy her books--however I am VERY sick of this one!!! I just got it out last week--it's the Little People Farm Book and has little flaps in it you can lift up and see different animals, etc. She LOVES it! About 14 times a day she toddles over to me carrying it (it's quite big and heavy for her little body) and crawls up in my lap and oohs and aahs over it. Right now all animals go "woof, woof" but she's trying hard to make a pig sound! So cute!
Sadie's new best friend, Dianne came to visit today! Sadie couldn't get enough of her!

We went to a wedding shower brunch this weekend for our friend Julie. Sadie especially enjoyed playing with her friend Mairyn. Mairyn is missing her two front teeth as well so they have something in common!
Her beautiful sweater was a Christmas present from Julie!
Once Sadie warmed up she wandered around and got into everyone's purses! She kept sticking her hand in and pulling out cell phones, brushes, etc. Unfortunately she did not get any money--I have to work on her pickpocketing skills!
Sadie is really enjoying her new chair. She loves to crawl in and out of it and pile all her "babies" in it as well!
Today we went to the park for the first time. Sadie LOVED the swing as you can see! The other things are still too big for her but I think she would have spent all day in the swing! It was a beautiful day--a little cool this morning but beautiful sunshine! Sadie loves a cool breeze. She always turns her head towards it and smiles. Unfortunately she won't get many of those here in Florida!Posted by Dorie at 8:15 PM 2 comments
The doll in front of her giggles everytime you pat her. It just cracks Sadie up everytime!
Grandma and Grandpa got her her very own chair for her birthday. I think she likes it!!
The Goodnight Moon book is quickly becoming worn. I try to get her to point to different things--once in awhile her finger lands on the object I ask for but she points to SOMETHING on every page hoping she'll get it right!
Note from Sadie: It is dangerous to walk and play peek-a-boo at the same time!
That Baby Einstein video is so good I cannot take my eyes off of it but I sure do love this teddy bear!

Enjoying her chair (no she doesn't last long like this)!

She wasn't too sure about the whole cake thing--wasn't all that interested--she touched it but didn't seem to know what to do from there--a little to overwhelming I think--especially with everyone around singing Happy Birthday to her!
Lyla trying to make friends!

Check out the bump on her head! It suddenly appeared and no one saw what happened! She did fall and didn't seem too upset but no one saw her hit her head! It looked awful and bothered me a whole lot more than it seemed to bother her!
