Christmas Festivities

We've had a great couple of weeks. Though Sadie never really warmed up to Santa Claus, she did like the presents he brought her! The pictures below tell most of the stories!

Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday!

Sadie decided she needed to wear last year's Halloween costume one night!!!

Here she is pointing to her Mickey Mouse ornament on the tree. The Dora pants add a new look don't you think?

Those gloves are hard to get on. We now have the addition of her USF crocks on her feet!

Twirling! The best part of this dress!

More dress up! You can't really see she has a tutu on underneath all the scarves as well!

Hiding in the cupboards!

Here I am!!!

Salay and Julie at Julie's birthday party!

Salay

Sadie, Marcie, and Anna having fun with all the paper--who needs presents?

Making our Christmas cookies in preparation for our cookie decorating party!

I'm learning to not freak about the messes!

All ready to decorate cookies with Lyla, Anna, and Salay!

Waiting patiently!

Anna was very intent...apparently she likes purple!

Salay says heck with the cookies, I prefer spoonfuls of sugar myself!

The finished products! Mmmm, mmm good!

Inspecting the presents

Mom, can I open it?

Hmmm, this one looks interesting...

Christmas Eve (it's been HOT here!)

Grandma came over for Christmas Eve

Lots of attention from Grandma and Uncle Paul!

A new Dr. kit!

Checking out Paul's heart...

My favorite gift--a tent from Grandma...the buttefly on top actually is removable and can be worn on her back!

Opening her stocking!

The Memo Mermay!!!! (Little Mermaid figurines!)

Santa brought a new tricycle!

Mr. Mouth!

I have a ton of videos to upload...here's an old one that is too big for this site I put on You Tube...let me know if anyone wants to book Sadie for a gig! Sorry, it's kind of long--3 videos put together--I really did delete alot of it!

Pre and Post Thanksgiving Happenings

Hope you and your families all had a Happy Thanksgiving! We did, and Sadie even cooperated by letting me get a few good pictures of her! We've been happy to have Uncle Paul (still Mister Paul to Sadie) visit a couple of times in the last few weeks and we got to take care of his dog Chloe for a couple of weeks. Sadie loved having Chloe here and she was a good caretaker--letting her out and feeding her. But, I got tired of constantly trying to get her to leave the poor dog alone!! Poor Chloe is such a good dog and very patient.

We are gearing up for the holidays. Sadie loves our Christmas tree and although she's not real sure about this Santa character, she's a bit intrigued. There is no way she'll sit on his lap but today at the mall we had to go "look at him" 3 times! Speaking of, we have a great new mall by our house. Sadie loves going there and riding in her stroller and stopping at our new favorite gelato place! This morning we went and the weather was beautiful (it's an outdoor mall). They also have a little train you can ride around. We rode it today and Sadie waved at everyone along the way!

Enjoy the pics and stories below!

We made some pumpkin break for Thanksgiving and Sadie loves to help cook. Unfortunately, she's been known to announce she's going to help Mommy cook at which point she usually pulls her chair up in front of the microwave!!

There's a little flour on her nose in this one...a chef at work!

Thanksgiving lunch at Sadie's school.

Her BFF, Brady!

This was on Thanksgiving morning in front of our house! What a great picture!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's place for dinner in their dining room. Grandma gave Sadie this new stuffed dog. This is at the "little house" at their place (it's a gazebo outside that Sadie loves going to). On nice days we take Papa out in his wheelchair to the "little house".

After we left Grandma and Grandpa's we went to see our friend Bridget and her family! There was another 3 year old there and Sadie adopted her butterfly wings for the entire visit! (Sadie also discovered she liked cranberry sauce there...I think she ate about half a can of it!)

The butterfly in her garden!

Gotta love the baseball playing in the tutu!
