Sadie is officially "Sadie"!

On Friday, June 1, which was Sadie's 17 mo. birthday, she was re-adopted here in Florida. This was not a requirement but allows Sadie to have a Florida birth certificate which will make life much easier when she needs to obtain one in the future. We were also able to officially change her name in the same procedure so she is now legally Sadie Isabel Dulce Paine. Up until now she has legally been Dulce Maria Paine. The judge was so nice and gave Sadie a little bear for her to adopt and a certificate of adoption for her bear. We decided to name the bear Tepper after the judge!
On another note--got bored with the look of the blog and decided to change it up a little. Must give credit for the picture above to my friend Julie. It was taken on Mother's Day...don't you love it?!!
Mommy, Sadie, Judge Tepper and Tepper the bear...
Sadie has discovered if she turns her chair over it makes a great slide! She is getting braver every day--starting to stand on things she shouldn't, etc...makes me nervous!

One day last week I walked into Sadie's classroom and they had her hair in three little pigtails! It was so cute but I don't know how they got her to leave them in--I can't get her to leave a bow or clip or anything in her hair for five minutes!

This would the the after effects of Sadie in pigtails!

Wooo...that's some scary hair...

Sadie got a couple of new toys today--one was a broom. (Hoping to convince her that household chores are fun really early!) She went out and helped Grandma sweep the porch...

It's a little big for her!

Her other new toy was a stroller for her babies. We were at some friends' house last night and their little girl had a doll stroller which Sadie pushed all over the house for 45 minutes! I decided she needed one and she enjoyed it just as much!

This is a picture my niece took when we were at the Chick-Fil-A in Little Rock. Sadie enjoyed her ice cream cone!
