Hope you and your families all had a Happy Thanksgiving! We did, and Sadie even cooperated by letting me get a few good pictures of her! We've been happy to have Uncle Paul (still Mister Paul to Sadie) visit a couple of times in the last few weeks and we got to take care of his dog Chloe for a couple of weeks. Sadie loved having Chloe here and she was a good caretaker--letting her out and feeding her. But, I got tired of constantly trying to get her to leave the poor dog alone!! Poor Chloe is such a good dog and very patient.
We are gearing up for the holidays. Sadie loves our Christmas tree and although she's not real sure about this Santa character, she's a bit intrigued. There is no way she'll sit on his lap but today at the mall we had to go "look at him" 3 times! Speaking of, we have a great new mall by our house. Sadie loves going there and riding in her stroller and stopping at our new favorite gelato place! This morning we went and the weather was beautiful (it's an outdoor mall). They also have a little train you can ride around. We rode it today and Sadie waved at everyone along the way!
Enjoy the pics and stories below!
There's a little flour on her nose in this one...a chef at work!
Thanksgiving lunch at Sadie's school.
Her BFF, Brady!
This was on Thanksgiving morning in front of our house! What a great picture!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's place for dinner in their dining room. Grandma gave Sadie this new stuffed dog. This is at the "little house" at their place (it's a gazebo outside that Sadie loves going to). On nice days we take Papa out in his wheelchair to the "little house".
After we left Grandma and Grandpa's we went to see our friend Bridget and her family! There was another 3 year old there and Sadie adopted her butterfly wings for the entire visit! (Sadie also discovered she liked cranberry sauce there...I think she ate about half a can of it!)
The butterfly in her garden!
